My acrylic paintings explore the natural world and the emotional landscapes within us. Working intuitively, I create Vermont-inspired landscapes that capture morning mist over mountains, the way sunlight filters through trees, and the quiet beauty of seasonal change. I also paint abstract compositions where color, form, and texture become the story themselves—bold, expressive pieces that invite you to feel rather than recognize. My conceptual works bridge both approaches, using visual metaphor and symbolic imagery to explore deeper themes of connection, memory, and transformation. Each landscape piece often begins with photographs I've taken, but I let my subconscious guide the painting process, sometimes combining multiple images into a single vision. The result is work that feels both grounded in Vermont's natural world and dreamlike in its interpretation. My abstract and conceptual paintings follow a similar intuitive process—I allow the canvas to speak back to me, building layers of color and texture until the piece reveals what it's meant to be. Whether representational or abstract, all my work shares this quality of letting intuition lead. These are original works on canvas, each one unique and unrepeatable. Paintings range in size and price depending on dimensions and complexity. If you're interested in a specific piece or would like to commission original work, I invite you to explore my complete collection on my Substack, where each painting is documented with full details on sizes, pricing, availability, and the stories behind their creation. Original acrylics are available for purchase, and I'm also happy to discuss commissioned pieces tailored to your vision and space.
